The Healing Spot Brush tool (Keyboard shortcut: J) is a super simple, neat little tool that you can use for removing small things, or things that are obviously “different” than their surrounds.
It works great for:
- sticks/grass/leaves/twigs
- bits of dust on the face or dirt in the coat
- setting a base for removing collars/leashes/bigger objects.
It usually won’t do an adequate job on its own for a collar removal, so be prepared to come in with the clone stamp afterwards.
