This 2.5 hour editing webinar recording is perfect for beginners who may have tried using Photoshop but have found themselves overwhelmed, have never used Photoshop before, OR who are used to using Photoshop using older methods (merging and copying layers!)

Not only will we be looking at the HOW to use Photoshop from the ground up, but we will be discussing the WHY in detail. After all, explaining a process is only helpful if you know when to put the techniques into practise on your own photos!

We’ll dive into all aspects of Photoshop, including:

• what is Camera Raw? When and why is it helpful?
• navigating Photoshop, the basic concepts and where to find stuff
• what are layers, how do they work, why is it important. How can we use them for panoramas and group photos?
• what is non-destructive editing and why is it best-practise to work in this way?
• working as a Smart Object in order to access your RAW files again
• masking: what is masking, how does it work?
• adjustment layers: create almost any effect: darken and lighten parts of your image, change colours, add special effects and plenty more while keeping everything editable!
• basic tools like cropping, using the new “generative” tools, removing bits of dust and dirt, and so on.

The focus will be on flexible, non-destructive editing, meaning you can change, revisit, or renew your edits at any time, well after you’ve saved them and closed the program. This webinar will give you a fantastic base to confidently navigate Photoshop and be able to use the most important tools for editing pet photos.
