  • Created by a fully qualified teacher and professional pet photographer

This course covers everything that I feel is most important for pet photographers when it comes to editing photos, and explain how these tools fit into my personal workflow, and when they might not. The full curriculum overview is available from the course page itself. The course includes lessons on:

  • Masking. What is it and why is it the most important thing you’ll learn about PS?
  • Fixing things in your image, including removing small and large objects, moving parts of your background around, head swaps and more
  • Blurring your background, when, why, how… (and when not to!)
  • Working with light, shaping light, manipulating light and dark in the image
  • Changing and altering the colours in the image
  • Special effects like overlays, light haze, dodge/burn of the dog’s face, editing and sharpening the eyes and more
  • Special tools like replacing the sky, using clipping masks, removing fringing and more.
  • One full tutorial, going from start to finish on an image, following my normal workflow. Another full tutorial will be added soon.

I found Inspawration photo school through YouTube and was excited to learn about the Photoshop course. I came into the course completely new to and bewildered by Photoshop, and have come out with so much knowledge and confidence and had a great time along the way. The course is structured so each element is clearly explained in detail and demonstrated, with a wide variety of topics covered to really reveal how to reach that dream image you just couldn’t figure out how to create. It was an investment that paid off so thank you Emily & Inspawration Phiotography!
