Editing Pets & People: Ike & Cecilia Tutorial
Let's edit this CUTE photo of Ike and Cecilia amidst the mossy woods. We're going to pull contrast from the background, brighten up the dark dog, work on her skin, and shape the light from above, all in 1 hour of video.
Edit Together: Magical Naya
In this edit, we're going to work on a reasonably under-exposed photo of Naya the ridgeback, looking up into the canopy of the forest. We're going to give this a magical green vibe, with her looking into light as she explores her world.
Sadie in the Woods: Full Tutorial
Full editing tutorial of Sadie in the woods. This started as a live session but my computer died. Normal process including removing a person by using another photo of the location, shaping the light (a lot) shifting colours more toward cyan, enhancing the hazy effect in the background. Backlit Journey: Full Tutorial
Full editing tutorial on an under-exposed photo of Journey, with some blown out highlights. Full process as a "stand alone" tutorial - prior knowledge of LR radials & PS masking/adjustment layers required. Length: 1hr 10 min
Backlit Amie: Full Tutorial, PS Only!
This full tutorial uses PS only, but NO RADIAL FILTERS. If you use an editing program that doesn't have radials, this is for you. We edit an underexposed, backlit image of Amie, brightening her, darkening highlights, shaping the light, bringing more warmth to the colours, with a focus on non-destructive/reversible editing. Length: 1hr 15min
Edit Together: Flower Crown
Full tutorial, following the normal process, removing the slight green tint, warming up the image, creating an open vignette, dodge & burn/contouring. Length: 1hr 18min
Reflections: Full Tutorial
Full tutorial, working on a very underexposed image. Lots of white balance & colour adjustments, brightening up the dog while keeping it natural, but keeping the sky highlights dark. Length: 30 minutes

Flower Magic: Blossom Editing Tutorial by Sabrina Theden
In this tutorial, I (Sabrina) will show my whole editing workflow from start to finish with a hawthorn blossom photo. We are going to work on a photo, that normally might have ended up in the trash - at least for me before I knew what was possible in editing and how I could do it. So with a few tricks and adding flowers from a different photo, we will save the image and turn it into a pretty flowery portrait! [Length: 2 hours]

Edit Together: Snow
Edit a snowy photo of Loki with us. There are actually a LOT of files to download, so feel free to work on any. We use Lightroom and Photoshop, talk about colour-grading, turning things blue, shaping the light, working on difficult snow eyes and plenty more in this live lesson. [Duration: 1.5 hours]
February 2024 Community Connect: Edit Together
In this Edit Together, we edit a photo provided by Vanessa, of her sheltie Lilo. It was a really magical photo, with beautiful (but strong!) rim-light, and some gorgeous haze in the background. We flip a few elements of the background to improve the composition, fix the blown fur highlights, cool down the blues and add a touch of magenta. Length: 1hr 50min
Snowy Wonderland
Full tutorial of a slightly underexposed Journey with a relatively high ISO. Brightening the dog, shaping the light, shifting the colours to this cool-magenta tone, using gradients, adding a snow overly, dodge/burn, etc. Length: 1hr 15min

Editing Dogs in Landscapes
Let's use Lightroom and Photoshop to edit a photo of the boys and I in a landscape in Scotland. Clouds, mountains and less light-shaping than normal, as well as editing the group of us, all play a part in this tutorial.
Pastel Edits: Guest Edit with Blooming Dahlia Photography
Inspawration Alumni Anne-Laurie joins us to show us her signature pastel editing techniques on a beautiful landscape photo. Learn all about gradient maps, working with the background and subject separately, shaping the light when the subject wasn't facing into the light, adding a lot of warmth and pretty pastel pink tones, and a heap more.
Highland Sunset
This is a quick 23 minute edit (yep!) using Lightroom and Photoshop - with most of the time spent trying to choose a good sky to fix the blown-out mess of the original. We're doing VERY basic LR edits, replace the sky with generative fill in PS, then use a mix of gradients and colour balance layers to add this sunset feel. This is a FAST tutorial - no "whys", not much explanation about "how" - you need to know PS and be ready to hit "pause" as needed.
Mountain Sunshine
We are going to take a pretty flat, boring mountain scene featuring Loki, bringing out details in the clouds, brighten it up Loki, add some sun with an overlay and some rim-light around his fur to make the sun more believable, shifting colours, removing distractions (grass), but keeping it bright & light. Length: 1hr 8mins
Edit Together: Styles Edition
We're going to take one raw file and treat it in two different ways: one darker, cooler and moodier, and the other brighter, warmer and happier. Normal process up to a point. Lots of curves layers to shape light and change the mood, lots of selective colour & colour changing options to go either warm & orange or cyan and moody. Length: 1hr 30mins
